AFTERWORD
Because God is yet speaking, it shall come to pass. The need for healing in women was at hand and the fact that women hoarded their unspoken hurts inside of their hearts was beginning to show up in the new generation. As we passed on the tradition of the unspoken hurts, it began to breed and birth a new generation of hurt, broken and unhealed women in the land. Over a two year time frame I surveyed a hundred women by simply asking THE question: As a woman, what would you say your top ten experiences of hurt (spoken of or unspoken of) that has kept you in bondage, that you desire to be liberated from? As women rattled off their top ten things, I began to seek God in a committed focus for direction as it related to these issues. I took twenty one of the top named hurts and I laid it at the altar. I allowed God to deal with ME. In order to release what was being expected, it was imperative that I begin to become INTENTIONAL about my own healing first. As the Father dealt with me (and as He still is) and my being intentional, He began to imbed in me visions of what He would have of me to release. The Lord showed me I needed to begin by peeling away layers, much like the composition of an onion, and upon the peeling away we arrived at the middle layer. Inside of that middle layer was a broken heart, and I watched the Lord pick that heart up and put it back together. As I have created these stories one by one, based upon the gift the Lord has given me as a creative, it is the intent that women and girls of all ages, backgrounds and cultures will pull from it whatever resonates with them. Most importantly, give them a guide and provide them with the tools to attempt to move forward by being INTENTIONAL about their healing. There is nothing new under the sun and there is nothing that you have faced or endured that is too hard for our God to bring you through! PLEASE, allow me to help you peel back the layers of your hidden hurt so that you can begin the healing process!
BE INTENTIONAL ABOUT YOUR HEALING...

ENDORSEMENTS...

Tammi Haddon
This book is so very necessary! As women, Christian women sometimes its difficult to find people honest and transparent. But this book is filled with raw real much needed truth. It gives you the permission to hurt and heal. The grace to grow and change and the strength to do the work even if it scares you. I'm so glad Courtney had the courage to take this on and I believe that every person that reads this book will be forever changed! I know I am.

Intentionally Healing through God's word is a work of love stemmed from painful purpose. When we endure the hardships of life and unspeakable pain, God uses that to show his love. The stories in this book are painful but yet so full of purpose. Healing is available to everyone but we must embrace the pain in order to truly heal. This book embraces real life situations that most people are afraid to talk about. It creates a platform of authentic issues we face and provides biblical insight and resolutions to begin the healing process. The prayers and reflections speak directly to the circumstances so we can be better equipped as we move forward in the journey to healing. It proves that we can fight to find peace from our pain using God's word and encouragement from people who may have walked in the same shoes.

Apostle Keith Davis
As I began to listen to the stories of these women I felt God's presence around me as it revealed the silent cries of unknown voices from the dark crying out to the Light. The style of presentation was the kind of flow that kept your attention as you anticipated the next persons plight. Women are important to God Jehovah because He made them. Not be abused, enslaved nor tortured but to be a help, support and to even lead when and where necessary. The devil's attack on humanity is the attack of men and women. To put them at odds with each other. Bringing God's image in man to no affect. I Honor these women who have made it through something unimaginable and for their bravery. I hope they all understand that the evil they experienced did not come by the hand of God Jehovah but by the sin of man. I Salute these Women.

Prophet Sadira Davis
This enthralling work pulls back the covers on many hidden secrets that have bound women for generations. It beautifully captures an array of the Father's love, compassion, healing, and freedoms which flow through every story right into your very atmosphere. It will afford healing to those who need it and will tenderize the hearts of all others. Riveting to say the least!
