I had a leadership meeting this morning with two Apostles and afterwards I sat in my car with tears streaming from my eyes because I’m grateful that HE gets ALL the Glory from my life I am ONLY the vessel....
STOP standing before the people AND counseling the people telling them you have ALWAYS made the right decisions and you’ve been saved since you could remember and you’ve NEVER done ANYTHING wrong... This makes me questions who “you say you are...”
I don’t try to walk in a light of perfection... I walk in a life of transparency
(and being in right standing).... When you stop “acting” like you’ve ALWAYS been perfect and have NEVER made a poor decision is when people get to see that it is God who is perfecting you... I can’t get it RIGHT on my own and neither can you... I will ALWAYS NEED HIM because HE is my strength... Sometimes, you have to be honest and let people know that HE came for you.... This way their faith will be increased and they will know that God will also rescue them...
LEADERS: When we live a LIE (as in you’ve always been perfect and made the right decisions) we can sometimes make others believe that they are not good enough to be saved or good enough to seek out God for help... When the REALITY is, it’s not because of any goodness of our own BUT it’s HIS GRACE and MERCY that HE gives us DAILY...
REMEMBER, no one ever gets saved because you are perfect and the truth is you’re not... Stop hiding the fact that God has shown you GRACE and MERCY at some point in your life(even if it’s something as simple as you’ve said the wrong thing to someone or offended/hurt someone) It’s not about you being perfect it’s about you being in Right Standing with HIM... There was ONLY one who was perfect and it is HE that is in us... JESUS thank you for leaving US your sweet sweet Spirit...
Philippians 3:12 - “Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus".
